My name is Zachary and I am the founder and CEO of cool-down. We are a conversation platform designed to bring the serendipitous encounters of the office remotely.

How do you start your day?

I start my day with a quick jog with my two dogs Bear and Boomi. Afterwards, it's time for a couple of quick cups of coffee and straight into work.

What does the rest of your day look like?

I'm never sure what's going to happen in my day. Usually though I spend my eight to four at my day job as a product manager for a small tech company throughout the day. I squeeze in some time for cool-down work and slowly push everything along. And the evening time after some dinner and physical activity, I dive into deep focus, work grind through what needs to be done until roughly 12:00 AM and repeat the whole process again, the next day. On weekends, I try and take the dogs out for a long hike or spend time with friends and family.

I feel this helps reset me and gives me inspiration for how to get past certain roadblocks that I might've been facing that previous week.

How do you feel when you don't get to include any healthy habits in your day?

It shows that's for sure. If I don't get a chance to meditate before bed or take the dogs out for a walk in the morning, I feel sluggish and not very alert. That's why I try and prioritize my health is everything else I do is impacted by how I feel.

How do you track and plan your day?

Scrum and Notion. I scrum my life by deciding on what I'm going to get done in the next three week period and book multiple accountability meetings with myself to make sure that this happens. I do all of this through notion, which I deemed my second brain. It's really a great lifesaver.

Final question, what's your health stack?

An apple watch 5 and Lifesum. Some for the most part, apple watch is great for passive health information and Lifesum is to more directly track what I eat.
